2. NFS Client Installation
!!! Important note: this package may be installed only using !!!
!!! Administrative Privileges !!!
2.1. Run the self-extracting "nfsc2k_b.exe" archive file.
This file may be found into the directory with uncompressed
X-WinPro/ProNFS package distributive.
2.2 The "nfsc2k_b.exe" archive will be uncompressed into the
prompted temporary directory on a hard disk (e.g. "C:\nfsc2k_b.src").
Then the NFSSETUP.EXE from this directory will be started.
Go through the installation process.
2.3. If installation is successful, then the following files should be
seen in the Windows 2000 system directory (after system restart):
XWPNFSFS.SYS -> \SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\XWPNFSFS.SYS,
XWNTSERV.EXE -> \SYSTEM32\XWNTSERV.EXE,
XWNTFS32.DLL -> \SYSTEM32\XWNTFS32.DLL
The "NFSCLPAR.EXE" and "UNINSTALL.EXE" files will be placed
into the prompted "c:\xnfsclnt" control directory. These programs
are also accessible via Windows "Start menu" :
- "Start menu"->"Programs"->"X-WinPro NFS Client"->"Settings";
- "Start menu"->"Programs"->"X-WinPro NFS Client"->"Uninstall".
You can check out the registration of NFS Client by the regedt32

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->System->CurrentControlSet->Control->
NetworkProvider->Order;
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->System->CurrentControlSet->Services->
